Turkey Contest Rules

CONTEST RULES

• Turkey must have been killed in Kentucky legally.
• All laws and regulations must have been followed.
• KYGUNCO staff will score all turkey by a combination of beard length + spur length.
• We reserve the right not to score a turkey if we know or suspect it was taken illegally.
• We reserve the right not to score a turkey if we know that it will score below the current leader.
• All turkey must be scored at either the Bardstown or Louisville stores for entry.
• In order to score a turkey the entire, undressed carcass must be present.
• The winner will be the highest scoring entry for each category in the contest.
• All entries are eligible for the random draw prizes.
  
• KYGUNCO Turkey Contest 2024 ends the last day of Kentucky turkey season May 5, 2024 with winners announced within a week.
